School history

From one classroom to a school families trust

Meey Children School was founded in September 2005 in a classroom. That first room held a simple conviction: a child who is known, safe and inspired will learn well.

Twenty-one years on, the school has grown into a full pathway from Nursery One through Basic 6, serving families across Satellite Town. The conviction has not changed. We still get to know each child as an individual, shape a trustful learning environment, and keep evaluating how we teach.

Dear Parents, Guardians and visitors to our school.

A very warm welcome to Meey Children School. It is a great pleasure to welcome you here, and thank you for taking the time to browse our website.

At Meey Children School, we aim to provide a balanced education for all the children, with a happy, stimulating and healthy environment. Every child is encouraged to reach their full potential, and we recognise and celebrate the differences that make each one unique.

We have excellent, dedicated, hardworking, selfless and experienced teachers. They all work together as a team to bring out the best in every child. We promote hard work among pupils, preparing them for a greater tomorrow.

We expect a great deal from our pupils, and they do not disappoint us. In addition, we endeavour that our children will possess a high level of both social and emotional intelligence. We also place them to succeed and thrive in the future, wherever they find themselves in society.

By the time children leave us at the end of Basic 6, they are of good moral behaviour, responsible, and ready to face the next phase of life.
